BRASILIA (Reuters) - Brazilian Finance Minister Henrique Meirelles tapped a law professor to head the securities regulator CVM, the finance ministry said on Wednesday.
If approved by the Senate, Marcelo Santos Barbosa would replace current CVM chief Leonardo Gomez Pereira when his term is up on July 14.
