WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump intends to nominate attorney Kevin McIntyre to be chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the White House said on Thursday.
McIntyre, an attorney with the Jones Day firm, would need to be confirmed by the Senate. FERC regulates interstate transmission of electricity, natural gas and crude oil.
