The PNE is asking the public to be on the lookout for a two-metre-tall furry brown bear last seen wearing a train conductor’s outfit and a red bandana around its neck.

The fair’s mascot K.C. — short for Kettle Creek Bear — was discovered stolen yesterday morning when staff went to get the uniform from the Party Patrol vehicle for an appearance at the park later.

“We’re obviously very anxious to get him back,” said Laura Ballance, a spokesperson for the PNE.
The PNE is offering a $500 reward for K.C.’s safe return.

Anyone with information about his where-abouts is asked to call 604-253-2311.
