Rights group chides website

CalgaryFinder.com has been given a letter by a civil liberties group for its decision to run a controversial racist ad on its website last week.

The Rocky Mountain Civil Liberties Association (RCMLA) has requested CalgaryFinder.com post its official policy following a decision to run a house-for-sale ad stating the owner would sell to “whites only.”

“It’s extremely abhorrent anyone in Calgary would post such an ad and it should not have been posted,” RCMLA’s Kelly Ernst said.

Ernst hopes the company avoids such discrimination in the future.
