Don Wilhelm and Christine Nelson, owners of Little Shop of Pleasures, display some boots and lingerie as they prepare for this weekend’s Taboo Naughty but Nice Sex Show at the Roundup Centre.

There’ll be some naughty and surely some nice, but everything will definitely be sexy this weekend at the seventh annual Taboo Naughty but Nice Sex Show.

The popular entertainment trade show has grown every year since its inception and last year more than 25,000 people showed their riskier sides by taking in the entertainment and shopping.

Show director Daryl Rosengreen said while a Taboo sex show may have been risqué when it started, these days there isn’t too much taboo about it.

“I think society as a whole has started to loosen up a bit and what used to be taboo is not really taboo anymore. So we’re making things a bit more risqué now because we can get away with it,” Rosengreen told Metro.

And riskier it will be, as this year features male and female exotic dancers, body painting, burlesque, sex seminars and so much more. The show will also embrace anything to do with sexuality, sensuality, health and wellness and romance.

“If it’s sexy, it’s here. We have a little bit of everything for everyone and it’s just a really good time.”

Rosengreen said tickets are discounted when bought online at $10 each or $15 for a weekend pass. The event is licensed and is for people 18 and older. For more information or to buy tickets, check out www.taboosexshow.com.

The event runs all weekend at the Roundup Centre. Hours are 5 p.m. to midnight today, noon to midnight Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
