Ottawa police believe the same suspect is linked to two robberies after two banks were robbed last week.
At 1:40 p.m. on Thursday, police said a lone male robbed the Scotiabank located in the 1600 block of Heron Road. Then at 3:50 p.m., a Bank of Montreal branch in the 1900 block of Montreal Road was robbed. In both instances, a note was passed to the teller demanding money. The suspect in each incident fled with an undisclosed quantity of cash.

Police are seeking a male, possibly Hispanic, with a medium build, 5-4 to 5-6, 20-25 years old, with short black hair, wearing a baseball cap, white T-shirt, beige pants, and aviator style sunglasses.
