A 33-year-old man was arrested Sunday evening after police say somebody entered the Shoppers Drug Mart in Lower Sackville and stole lottery tickets and bus passes.
According to Cpl. Joe Taplin of the RCMP, a male entered the store at 7 p.m. and stole the tickets and passes.
The suspect was followed by a store employee, who saw him stepping onto a Metro Transit bus, Taplin says.
The employee stopped the bus and held it until RCMP arrived on the scene.
Police say the suspect cooperated with the Metro Transit bus driver and the store employee and was later arrested by the RCMP for theft under $5,000.
