The rumour mill surrounding BlackBerry-maker Research In Motion’s response to Apple’s iPhone has officially kicked into overdrive.
RIM has said next to nothing about its upcoming wireless e-mail devices, but there are nevertheless dozens of photos circulating on the Internet that purport to show new BlackBerry designs and leaked technical documents.
An online technology blog claimed yesterday to have photographs of a yet-to-be released BlackBerry dubbed “Kickstart” that resembles the Pearl model, but is designed as a flip or clamshell-style phone instead of RIM’s traditional candy bar shape.
