Chris Martin and his Coldplay band-mates better be looking over their shoulders when they show up for the Grammys this weekend. Lawyers for Joe Satriani are planning an ambush since the band has so far dodged getting served with a plagiarism lawsuit.
“We have warned their British lawyers that we have hired a fleet of process servers lined up to dog the band everywhere they go this weekend in the hopes of serving them,” says Howard King, Satriani’s lawyer.
At issue? Satriani claims the band ripped off a melody from one of his songs for their Grammy-nominated hit Viva La Vida.
