Calgarians will notice a new look to Canada Post mailboxes in the fall.
New boxes with a busy pattern meant to deter graffiti will replace old boxes in Calgary by the end of the year, according to Canada Post spokesperson Teresa Williams.
“The new mailboxes also have a new coating that will help it clean up easier. And the new design of postal codes in different fonts means graffiti won’t stand out as easy,” she said.
The new boxes are already in use in other Canadian cities including Edmonton and Toronto.
