At R.H King Academy, home of nearly 1,500 students, it is filled to its capacity.
This year, the school accepted more than 200 extra students that we didn’t have room for. In several of my classes, we have well over 30 students, some of which do not have desks.
Most recently, we have been introduced to the Toronto District School Board budget cuts — again.
It seems the Ministry of Education keep launching these brilliant ideas that only result in a backlash for post-secondary student education. These new ideas are not helping launch the brilliant minds into society but rather setting us back.
