Halifax police have made a second arrest following a vicious attack
last weekend on a 15-year-old boy at a Dartmouth bus stop.
A man was picked up in the Truro area Thursday and is scheduled
to appear in a Dartmouth court Friday. A 15-year-old Dartmouth boy, who
is in the permanent care of the Community Services Department, has
already been arraigned on a charge of attempted murder.
The victim was waiting for a Metro Transit bus at about 11 p.m.
Sunday when he was approached by two males who demanded that he turn
over his cellphone.

When the boy refused, he was stabbed with a knife and beaten with a pipe.
Police say they have not yet had a chance to talk to the victim
who remains in hospital with serious, but non life-threatening
