Plenty of illegal drugs have turned up across the municipality recently.
Halifax RCMP said officers found 18 grams of cocaine, along with scales and other drug paraphernalia, when they searched a Matador Court residence in Lower Sackville last Thursday night.
A 25-year-old man and 23-year-old woman were scheduled to appear in Dartmouth provincial court on charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking last Friday.
Meanwhile, late last Thursday night, firefighters responded to a grease blaze on the 5000 block of Rector Street in Halifax, only to discover a loaded firearm and "a quantity of crack cocaine," police said.
Halifax Regional Police showed up to arrest a woman in relation to the weapon and drugs found there.
