BELGRADE (Reuters) - Serbia's parliament speaker set April 2 as a date for a presidential election seen as a litmus test of prime minister Aleksandar Vucic's popularity.

"I would like to use this opportunity to call all citizens to come out and vote and decide who will be new president of Serbia," Maja Gojkovic said after she announced election date.
