The article written by John Sewell was so true.

Toronto council meetings are televised and last Thursday’s attendance seemed sparse. Does this explain why unimaginative and self-serving decisions are brushed through?

There certainly does seem to be a disconnect and lack of communication between city council and what the residents envision Toronto can be.
