A violent sexual predator who walked away from his downtown Vancouver halfway house a day after being released from prison could be making his way home to Ontario, police said yesterday.

Roger Dale Badour, 59, was reported missing on Saturday evening when he didn’t return home.

Vancouver Police Const. Tim Fanning said he’s been known to target vulnerable women with mental health or addiction problems.

“(He) has portrayed himself as a person of authority … (and) is at a high risk to re-offend,” Fanning said.
Badour had just been released from a seven-year prison term and was placed on a long-term supervision order for 10 years.
Police ask that anyone who sees him to call 9-1-1.
