Where time stands still in Calgary, they are looking toward a bright future — with a new logo to boot.

Heritage Park Historical Village unveiled their new design at the Wainwright Hotel, with their vision set squarely on the future of delivering the past to its visitors.

The bright red logo with white script is a contemporary design — representing the modern feel of the $40 million expansion the park is undergoing — while still caretaking the past success of the local cultural destination.

“We felt that we need to be able to marry the existing park, and its importance, with the new direction that we are going,” said Alida Visbach, General Manager and COO of Heritage Park.

Deputy Premier Ron Stevens represented the province at the branding ceremony, also ushering in provincial support to the tune of $6 million.
