An information picket will be held at the Halifax ferry terminal from 8 to 10 a.m. today in recognition of World Oceans Day. The Sierra Club wants Fisheries Minister Gail Shea to rethink the department’s management policies and introduce strategies that foster the recovery of the ocean food web, and with it commercial and non-commercial fish species, a release said.
