Ron Sexsmith


Singer/songwriter Ron Sexsmith’s latest CD, Time Being, is on store shelves. He will perform at Massey Hall tomorrow.


Q: What is your fondest memory from your family kitchen?


A: Well, the radio was in the kitchen so I remember hearing some great music there with my brothers.

Q: What kitchen aromas bring back fond memories?

A: I loved when my mom would make Yorkshire pudding. It would be a once a year event.

Q: Who is your favourite cook?

A: My grandma was my favourite. She made incredible Sunday dinners. My mom has carried on the tradition.

Q: What is your favourite food to cook?

A: Mainly comfort foods like mashed potatoes, chicken or fish and veggies. My specialty is breakfast.

Q: How did the first meal you prepared turn out?

A: They were the best Pop Tarts ever!
