Six teenagers face charges after Dartmouth break-and-enter

Six teenagers between the ages of 13 and 16 were to appear inprovincial youth court yesterday after Halifax Regional Policeresponded to a break-and-enter on Trinity Ave. in Dartmouth on Sundayevening.

Six teenagers between the ages of 13 and 16 were to appear in provincial youth court yesterday after Halifax Regional Police responded to a break-and-enter on Trinity Ave. in Dartmouth on Sunday evening.

Police say when they arrived on the scene around 10:30 p.m., five youths were arrested leaving the building and a sixth person was apprehended inside with the help of a K-9 member.

Police say a female arrested inside the building received a small bite to her leg from the police dog, but it didn’t require medical attention.

All six youths are facing charges of break and enter and property damage.
