Sixteen-year-old Boston boy reported stabbed to death on city bus

BOSTON - The district attorney's office says a 16-year-old boy has been fatally stabbed on a city bus in Boston's Dorchester neighbourhood.

BOSTON - The district attorney's office says a 16-year-old boy has been fatally stabbed on a city bus in Boston's Dorchester neighbourhood.

Suffolk District Attorney's office spokesman Jake Wark says Devonte Dalvin-Franklin was stabbed several times at about 9:30 p.m. on New Year's Eve.

He was pronounced dead at Boston Medical Center.

Wark said the boy is from Boston's Roxbury neighbourhood.

State police and transit police are investigating the motive and circumstances surrounding the attack.
