The first-ever Canadian Forces Halifax Rock Fest is taking place this summer and it’s sporting an impressive lineup.
International stars Chickenfoot will join Our Lady Peace, Finger 11 and Halifax’s Sloan as headliners for the show that will take place at Citadel Hill on August 2 during Natal Day weekend.
“This concert is about connecting people,” Frank Cleyson, Canadian Forces Halifax Personnel Support Programs Manager, said. “We’re connecting family, friends, neighbours and musicians in an evening of unbelievable entertainment.”
Deployed troops from the region will be able to watch the show through Canadian Forces Television.
Early bird tickets are on sale now at all Ticketpro locations until May 31. They run $65 each or $240 for a family of four. After that, individual tickets will cost $75.
