Snakes slither into two apartments on Toronto street

TORONTO - Two Toronto police officers turned into snake wranglers this week.

TORONTO - Two Toronto police officers turned into snake wranglers this week.

They were called to capture snakes that had slithered into two different apartments on Woolner Avenue, near Jane Street and St. Clair Avenue, yesterday.

One woman called police saying a snake had slithered out from a wall.

The officers came and removed the corn snake.

Several hours later, they swung into action again to fish a non-poisonous python from a toilet bowl in another apartment on the same street.

The snakes are in the custody of Animal Services and will be taken to a reptile zoo in Vaughan if their owners don't claim them within a week. (680 News)
