Snow tracks lead cops to two arrests

City cops took advantage of the freshly fallen snow Tuesday night to arrest two people who allegedly broke into several garages and cars on 114 Street and 53 Avenue.

Police say a caller noticed someone in his yard and around his garage shortly after 11:30 p.m.

And when police arrived at the home, they noticed the pair in an alley north of the residence, said city cops.

When an officer approached one of the suspects, the other ran off, police said.

Police said the police service’s AIR-1 helicopter located the other suspect who was hiding in an adjacent alley.

Brent Billow, 18, and Mark Keller, 19, have each been charged with five counts of break and enter with intent, four counts of theft under $5,000, trespass by night, tamper with auto, and attempted break and enter.
