The latest snowstorm has a silver lining now that Snow Valley Edmonton opens to the public today. Season passes have been on sale since February and the Club anticipates a large turnout this weekend.
“Our staff is super pumped to get out and open up. Energy is very high,” said Kristina Zelko, marketing co-ordinator for Snow Valley Edmonton. “People are ready to use those passes.”
As for snowboarders, one in particular is looking forward to hitting the hills.
“Fresh powder is definitely one of the best things about snowboarding,” said Jason Gobert, an avid snowboarder.
