Sour day for robbed strawberry vendor

Police are investigating a strawberry robbery after a vendor was reportedly assaulted and robbed yesterday afternoon.

Police said that at 3 p.m., three teenage males approached a strawberry vendor at the Giant Tiger parking lot in Manotick.

The vendor was pushed and robbed of his fanny pack, which contained proceeds from the day’s sales, and his cell phone.

The suspects fled the area on foot. There were no injuries.

Police are now seeking three teenagers, about 16 or 17 years old.
