Two people have died in sporting accidents in southern British Columbia — one after being trampled by a bull and the other in a skateboarding crash.

Glenna Evans, from Vancouver, was riding her longboard down Mount Seymour Road when she collided with a van.

She would have turned 28 on Saturday.

In a separate accident, an 18-year-old bull rider died after being trampled by a bull during a rodeo in Valemount. Makwala Derickson-Hall was bucked off and stepped on.
