The Saint Mary’s Huskies control their own destiny heading into the final two games of the AUS football regular season.

The Huskies demolished the visiting St. Francis Xavier X-Men 41-6 on Friday night and are now sitting in a three-way tie for first with the Mount Allison Mounties and Acadia Axemen.

The Mounties upended Acadia 20-7 on Saturday in Wolfville to see all three teams sit with 3-3 records.

Saint Mary’s hosts Mount Allison on Friday, then wraps up the regular season the following weekend in Acadia. With victories in both games, Saint Mary’s would finish first and earn a bye to the conference final.
