The woes continue for the Edmonton Eskimos, having lost slotback Fred Stamps for a few weeks to a shoulder injury.
But the injured receiver said it’s up to his teammates to right the quickly sinking ship, not the coaching staff.
“Nobody wants to sit out but unfortunately it happens,” Stamps said about his dislocated shoulder suffered against Toronto on the weekend.
“None of our coaches should be on the hot seat because they put us in the positions to make plays, they can’t make plays for us. We just have to execute.”
