The Halifax Mooseheads have decided to wait until later in the week to clear a couple of roster spots.

The Mooseheads, who have returned rookie defenceman Jamie Bishop to his midget team in Saint John, N.B., are carrying 26 players, two more than they would like.

With a last-place 1-13-1 record, they are looking to clear out older bodies and give more ice time to youngsters.

The Mooseheads may wait until tomorrow to make any moves. They visit the Bathurst Titan on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and host the Saint John Sea Dogs on Saturday at 7 p.m.
