The semester is almost over, but before you can relax with some well deserved time off, you need to make it through the December exam slog in one piece. Here are a few study tips to help you survive:

 




Exercise or socialize during study breaks. Many schools have created events like midnight runs or movie breaks to help students cope with stress. Take advantage of these events.





Experiment with different times of the day to find the best study time for you. Some students like getting up before class in the morning. Others enjoy the evening hours. Pick a time when you are alert and ready to concentrate best and try to stick to it.





Create a calming and productive atmosphere. A study area should have good lighting and ventilation, a comfortable chair, and a space large enough to spread out your materials.
