While some people take up knitting as a hobby, government worker Holly Suggitt. chose motorcycle stunt riding.

Not your average choice, but Suggitt said she needed something more in life than her home, gardening and shopping.

"I have a one-year-old, and daycare and laundry, but then I go and hop on my bike and it’s so cool that life can have another angle."

Describing her stunt-riding career as an "alter-ego thing," Suggitt said it’s the rush of riding on the cutting-edge that keeps her coming back for more.

Suggitt will be on hand along with other stunt riders for the 2008 Vancouver Motorcycle Show that starts next Thursday at Tradex, across from the Abbotsford airport.
