Suno: Spring 2015

Read a review of the Suno Spring 2015 fashion show, seen at New York Fashion Week.

The Look: Art-teacher chic

The runway: Finally, color! Max Osterweis and Erin Beatty opened their show with a series of ROYGBIV-striped sweaters, tunics and faux-tie skirts that packed a punch. Otherwise, the palette was kept neutral (dusty blue and sand) -- the better to show off the designers' signature next-level layering (dresses over culottes, jackets over jackets) and pattern-mixing.

Insta-worthy: A handkerchief-hem dress featuring a mash-up of violets and geometric squares -- way less bonkers than it sounds.

The takeaway: Layering isn't just for fall!
