Surrey shooting suspect sought

Police are looking for a Surrey man they say was involved in a serious shooting.

Surrey RCMP officers responded to a complaint of shots fired near a
residence at 67th Ave & 127a St. on March 13 at
5:30 p.m.

The initial investigation indicated that two males had
become engaged in a verbal and then physical altercation. Once the
physical fight was underway, a third male appeared and fired a hand gun
striking the victim in the back, paralyzing the victim from the waist
down.

Police believe this crime is drug-related, however they have
not been able to determine if there are any ties to any gang related
issues.

Surrey RCMP have now laid charges with
regards to this event and are seeking the public’s assistance in
locating the suspect.

Currently charged with aggravated assault
and discharging a firearm with intent to wound is Jaspal “Jessie”
Dhinsda, age 22, of Surrey. This individual is considered armed and
dangerous.

Police are asking for public assistance in locating
this individual. Anyone with
