A man who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for being unlawfully at large is now being sought by police for seven recent bank robberies in Edmonton.
“At this point in time we’ve identified a suspect as being Cage Burnstick,” said Staff Sgt. Howard Kunce.
“We’re urging the public and anyone with any information as to the current whereabouts of Mr. Burnstick, or anyone with any information at all in relation to the robberies, to contact police or Crimestoppers.”
The robberies date as far back as July 9 and have taken place at banks all over the city. In each case, the suspect passes notes to bank tellers, and no weapon has been produced.
“No one has been hurt in relation to any of these robberies and that’s a good thing,” Kunce said.
