Something just didn't seem right with this classified ad.
Officers saw the ad for a spa in an Ottawa newspaper several months ago and launched a prostitution investigation.
Police say officers gathered evidence that the spa was a front for a "common bawdy house, where sexual services were obtained from staff members in exchange for money."
Two women and a man were arrested Friday when police searched the spa on Holland Avenue. Police also noted "evidence relating to the bawdy house was seized."
The two women, aged 36 and 46, have been charged with keeping a common bawdy house, being an inmate in a common bawdy house and living off the avails of prostitution.
The man is expected to be sent to "John school."
