The mysterious death of a 48-year-old woman is the subject of a Strathcona County RCMP investigation following her sudden passing at a rural gas station last week.
Emergency crews were called to Country Boyz Tempo on Wye Road and Range Road 214 last Friday around 6 p.m.
Though paramedics and a family member attempted to revive the woman, she died on scene.
Store staff said yesterday they knew little about the incident.
An autopsy was conducted Monday, but the cause of death has not been released, nor has the victim been publicly identified.
Police have been scouring the victim’s rural home in hope of uncovering information that will answer questions surrounding the suspicious death.
