The Ottawa police major crime unit continues to investigate the death of a 29-year-old woman at a motel on Montreal Road.
Police were called to the Concorde Motel at 333 Montreal Rd., Friday afternoon.
Although police said over the weekend the circumstances surrounding the death are "suspicious," they have not yet said it is a homicide.
If it is called a homicide, it would be Ottawa's fourth of the year.
The death is still under investigation and police released little information. Police are not releasing a name or cause of death and there is no one in custody, Ottawa Police Sgt. Robert Drummond said Sunday.
Staff at the Concorde Motel declined to comment.
