Halifax Mooseheads forward Bryce Swan is listed as day-to-day with a concussion and there is a chance he will miss his second straight game on Friday.

The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's goal-scoring leader was hit in the head twice in a triple-overtime win over the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles in Game 3 of the best-of-seven quarter-finals on Tuesday.

He missed Wednesday's Game 4 loss and will be evaluated again on Friday, when the Mooseheads play the Screaming Eagles in Game 5 at the Metro Centre at 7 p.m.

Swan, 20, has 10 goals in nine playoff games.

The Mooseheads returned from Sydney on Thursday morning at 3 a.m. and, other than Game 4 scratches, didn't skate at the Forum later in the day. Tomas Knotek, who missed the past two games with a nasty flu, was one of the few to hit the ice and is expected back on Friday.
