Alberta Liberal Leader Dr. David Swann went on the offensive yesterday, criticizing the recently reported hospital wait times in Calgary and the health priorities of the provincial government.
“Emergency rooms are still as crowded as ever, (and) instead of increasing the size of the health workforce and creating new beds, they’re tinkering with administrative issues and spending a pretty penny to do it,” Swann said.
His comments come on the heels of reports that ER wait times in Calgary have jumped by up to 30 per cent.
