Taft resigns as Alberta Liberal leader

Alberta Liberal Leader Kevin Taft has announced his resignation. Taft
told a news conference at the Alberta legislature this morning he would
be stepping down no later than January.
“We thought we would make some gains and obviously when it went the other way that’s my biggest regret,” Taft told reporters.
He said he will stay on as MLA for Edmonton Riverview.
