From Friday until Sunday, Toronto will be the focus once again for promoting environmental responsibility at The Green Living Show. Toronto’s first consumer show dedicated to all things “Green” will be held at the Direct Energy Centre at Exhibition Place Toronto. For TAS, becoming a lead sponsor of the Green Living Show is a perfect fit. M5V Condominiums by TAS is one of the first buildings in Toronto eligible for LEED Certification, and their Presentation Centre is the first LEED-certified sales office in North America. TAS is a finalist in the Green Builder of the Year, High-Rise category in this year’s Greater Toronto Home Builders’ Association’s Home Builder Awards.

The Green Living Show will feature more than 200 exhibitors, plus Main Stage talks led by Al Gore (An Inconvenient Truth) and Dr. David Suzuki along with Margaret Atwood, Dr. Roberta Bondar and Gill Deacon, to name just a few.

Among these inspiring presenters will be Mazyar Mortazavi, Principal of TAS DesignBuild — who as a company has taken the lead by becoming the only show sponsor from the new home building industry.

At The Green Living Show, TAS DesignBuild will have a booth front and centre that will appeal to all the senses and invite visitors to explore how green living can enhance the quality of their living space.

Renowned for their exhilarating exhibit spaces, TAS will be creating a sanctuary that explores the unique features of living green without compromising design and quality, a TAS trademark.

A calming water feature will grace the entrance to the booth, and visitors will be invited to tour five key areas in this mock living space: building systems, cooking/energy, style/materials, bathing/water, and breathing/air quality, with a fireplace for energy at the end.

Within the display, TAS will display many of the finishes used in the company’s condominiums.

TAS commitment to creating homes is done with the utmost attention to detail. The unique TAS Home Experience is committed to helping home buyers create their personal sanctuaries without compromising design and quality while ensuring awareness on the environment and the impact we have on it.

Mazyar Mortazavi, who is trained as an architect, will offer a presentation about the benefits of living in green homes, and he will identify the challenges developers face to achieve LEED standards.

Mazyar’s presentation will be centered around TAS’s experience in creating their M5V development from the design of the building to creation of North America’s first LEED certified sales office. He will demonstrate this through images and slides, depicting the process and the end result.

During this fascinating show, visitors will find information on garden, house and home, fashion and beauty, energy, eco art, kids and the ecology, and much more.
