It’s All Greek to Me was an overnight sensation when it opened a few years ago. It’s still popular and there’s a second location in Dartmouth.
My friend and I arrive for lunch at the Quinpool restaurant and are warmly greeted. Greek decor, Greek music; it’s a lovely spot.
We sip our cranberry and club sodas as we peruse the lunch menu. We both decide upon a souvlaki pita. My lamb souvlaki is made of tender chunks of lamb, tomato and onion slices and lots of tzatziki sauce. My home-cut fries on the side are soft, chunky and tasty.
My friend orders take-out for her family’s evening meal — feasting on All Greek twice in the same day is no problem. Lunch lives on.
