Ottawa police have charged a male young offender in relation to a bank robbery.
Police said Monday that at 11 a.m. Saturday, a male suspect entered the TD Canada Trust bank in the 1600 block of Montreal Road. A note was produced and cash demanded. There were no weapons seen and the suspect fled without incident.

Police located a male matching the descriptors a short distance away and arrested him.
A 16-year-old Ottawa male appeared in court Monday in relation to charges of robbery and breach of probation.
