A 15-year-old male youth was to appear in Halifax provincial court yesterday facing charges including break and enter after police say someone broke into a Dartmouth home Tuesday.

Halifax Regional Police say a resident returned home from work Tuesday afternoon and found her house had been broken into and several items were missing. She reported the incident, and police say a person of interest was identified and arrested on an outstanding warrant.

Police then say a search of another Dartmouth residence yesterday morning recovered evidence in Tuesday’s break and enter.

The 15-year-old Dartmouth youth is also charged with breach of probation and breach of recognizance.
