Teen charged with stunt driving after police find passenger in trunk after crash

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. - Provincial police have charged a 17-year-old boy with stunt driving after allegedly crashing a car with a passenger in the trunk in Mississauga, Ont.

Police were called to a collision early Sunday where a car had gone into a ditch near Highway 401.

It was discovered that the driver allegedly violated conditions of his G2 licence, and had five passengers in the Mazda, including one in the trunk.

The 17-year-old passenger from the trunk and a 15-year-old girl were both taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The driver is also charged with careless driving and licence violations and had his car and licence suspended for seven days.

The unidentified teenager will appear in court Nov. 3.
