A 17-year old youth has been charged with trafficking after RCMP tracked him down for a hit and run collision.
At approximately 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, RCMP responded to reports of a collision in the Sobeys parking lot on Sackville Drive.
They managed to find the youth and initially charged the youth with failing to remain at the scene of an accident. A subsequent search revealed a substantial amount of marijuana.
The youth will appear in court on Aug. 5.
