Ottawa police have charged a 17-year-old male in relation to thefts from vehicles in the city’s west end.
At 3 a.m. on Sunday, officers responded to a call of males who were allegedly breaking into vehicles in the Beatrice area of Barrhaven, police said yesterday.
They arrested two suspects and recovered a DVD, a digital camera, cellphone, and two GPS units.
Police charged a 17-year-old male with two counts each of theft, possession of property obtained by crime and mischief.
Another 17-year-old male was issued a warning under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
