Two teenage boys were arrested at gunpoint in Langley after an off-duty officer reported having two guns — which later turned out to be toys — pointed at her.
Cpl. Holly Marks said when backup arrived the 15-year-olds took off and were quickly caught and taken down at gunpoint.
“These two young men were brought to their parents and cautioned on the dangers of displaying a weapon in this manner,” Marks said.
“Given the heightened awareness to gun violence in the Lower Mainland, the potential to misidentify recreational firearms … is high.”
