Moving photos from this year’s 9/11 anniversary

Monday marked the 16th anniversary of the September 11 terror attacks.

In New York City, an annual anniversary ceremony at the 9/11 Memorial plaza honored the nearly 3,000 men, women and children killed in the attacks at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, aboard Flight 93, and the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
